My brother and I had the privilege of playing for the Bolger brothers over 20 years ago. Since then, I’ve had four sons and four nephews all play for them. Coach Moore has coached my kids and nephews at Elite and Delray Riptide. He not only brings Division I experience, through sincere passion and a willingness to fully engage players, I’ve seen firsthand Coach Moore’s ability to mold adolescent teens into young men. That’s the power of youth sports at its best. If you attend high school lacrosse games across Palm Beach County, you’ll regularly see Coach Moore in the stands supporting former and current Elite players. Its hard to imagine many travel coaches doing that. When you talk to former players, many of whom go onto to play for the Bolgers at Saint John Paul II Academy, you see how these coaches have impacted them as players and as men. Over the years, I’ve met so many former players at alumni games. Their respect for the game and each other is a testament to the coaches. You cannot find better men in all of youth sports today.
